So I got some pretty good stuff my birthday. Some books, clothes, DVDs, a game. But after we’d opened them all, my dad went to the fridge and gave me one last gift. He said he’d bought it on a whim for lunch at work tomorrow.

You know the song that goes “It’s my birthday and I’ll cry if I want to, cry if I want to. You would cry too if it happened to you~”?

(I work in a Coffee Shop. I was on break in the lobby when a couple walks in. Directly behind them is a cute little boy in Batman costume.)
Me: “Oh my God! It’s BATMAN!”
(The boy stops, strikes a pose and starts looking around menacingly. After a few seconds, he approaches the counter.)
Mother: “Jeff, would you like a chocolate milk?”
Boy: “I am not Jeff. I am The Batman.”
Mother: “The Batman, would you like a chocolate milk?”
Boy: “Yes. Yes, The Batman would.”
(The couple pays while the boy sits down with his chocolate milk. He keeps a stern look on his face as he sips the drink.)
Boy: *sips* “Gotham is safe.”

My birthday request
Dear whatever tyrannical gods are out there that bestowed my family with the world’s slowest wifi connection:
I will be in New York tomorrow to visit my fabulous friends who I love so much that I am willing to miss watching Legend of Korra (and Young Justice). Thus, I will only be able to watch it Sunday, my 20th birthday, which is why I am making this a birthday request.
